The SDT LUBExpert works in perfect synergy with UAS3 (Ultranalysis® Suite 3) to take your lubrication program from “guessing” to “knowing.” While the LUBExpert device guides the technician at the machine, the UAS3 software acts as the “brain” of the operation, managing the data and strategy behind every lubrication task.
With UAS3, you can build a detailed 7-level hierarchical tree of your entire plant. This allows you to organize thousands of assets and create specific Work Orders or “Shopping Lists” for your team. The software tells the LUBExpert which grease type to use, the correct quantity, and the required interval for each specific bearing.
After the work is done, the data is synced back to UAS3. You can then:
- Trend Lubrication Health: See how friction levels change over time.
- Generate Reports: Show exactly how much grease was consumed and the “Before vs. After” condition of every bearing.
- Identify Problems: If a bearing is “Suspect” (it doesn’t respond to grease), UAS3 alerts you to investigate mechanical wear.
- Manage Alarms: Set automatic alerts based on SDT’s Four Condition Indicators (4CI).
This combination ensures that your lubrication is not just a task, but a documented, data-driven reliability strategy.
