The SDT Crysound 2624 is an industrial acoustic imager specifically designed for professionals working in hazardous and explosive environments. Featuring an ATEX certification (II 3G Ex ic IIC T5 Gc), this handheld device allows you to perform critical safety inspections in oil, gas, and chemical facilities without compromise.

Equipped with a powerful array of 128 MEMS microphones, the 2624 detects ultrasonic frequencies that the human ear cannot hear. It creates a real-time “sound map” on its 7-inch touchscreen, overlaying noise patterns onto a high-definition visual image. This allows operators to:

Standard (STN): Includes the 2624 acoustic camera, the basic reporting software, and standard accessories (battery, charger, case). It is primarily used for finding leaks and seeing them on the screen. Provides basic visual “heat maps” of sound and simple reporting tools to show where a leak is located.

PRO: Includes everything in the standard version plus the SDT LEAKChecker. This is a separate handheld ultrasonic tool that allows you to double-check and quantify leaks more precisely after the camera has located them. Offers more advanced analysis features, including more detailed leak rate estimations (calculating exactly how much money a leak is costing per year) and more comprehensive Partial Discharge (PD) classification tools to identify the specific type of electrical fault.
