The FLIR IRW-xPC/xPS series introduces large-format, rectangular inspection windows to the FLIR IR family, designed to maximize safety and efficiency during electrical component scanning. Equipped with impact-resistant, UL 746-compliant polymer optics, these windows provide an exceptionally wide field of view, making previously inaccessible internal components fully visible without needing to open enclosure doors or disrupt asset operations. The polymer lens is transmissive across visual, ultraviolet, and infrared spectrums, fully supporting midwave and longwave IR imaging, visual checks, and the use of laser pointers.
Engineered to endure harsh environments—including demanding industrial facilities and shipboard systems—these windows feature robust gaskets and automatic component grounding. The series is split into the IRW-PC models, constructed with an aluminum body rated to IP65/NEMA 4x, and the heavy-duty IRW-PS models, built from powder-coated stainless steel with a high-protection IP67/NEMA 6 rating and an extended temperature endurance up to 273°C.
