Detachable insertion tube (scope unit) designed for use with the Olympus / Evident IPLEX GX and GT base units.
It is not a standalone videoscope and requires a compatible IV9000G or G Lite base unit for operation.
System Role: Serves as the high-durability “business end” of the IPLEX system, featuring a built-in CCD camera and high-intensity LED illumination at the tip.
Precision Control: Equipped with TrueFeel electronic articulation, allowing for 130° of responsive tip movement in all directions when connected to the base unit joystick.
Durability: Built with a tungsten braid exterior for maximum abrasion resistance and rated IP65 for use in harsh, oily, or wet environments.
Safety Features: Includes an integrated 2-stage temperature sensor to protect the unit from high-heat damage during inspections.
Important Compatibility Note
IPLEX GX Users: This unit can be freely interchanged with any other scope length or diameter in the GX series.
IPLEX GT Users: This unit is intended as a replacement for an existing 4.0 mm x 2.0 m scope.
