The AC935 Series industrial IEPE accelerometer is engineered to deliver precise, long-term vibration monitoring data while operating in “non-arcing, non-sparking” hazardous environments. Featuring a standard 100 mV/g sensitivity and a wide 80 g dynamic peak range, this low-capacitance sensor is highly capable of tracking high-frequency anomalies, making it ideal for checking rolling element bearings and higher-g machinery setups. The internal PZT ceramic shear-mode sensing structure is housed in a robust, hermetically welded 316L stainless steel casing that provides maximum immunity to physical impacts and environmental ingress.
To fulfill hazardous-area classification mandates, the series must be paired with approved CTC cabling—such as the blue CB190 TPE cable—and specialized connectors. The sensor is offered in multiple physical profiles to accommodate spatial restrictions, including a top-exit 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector version (AC935-1A), a submersible integral cable version (AC935-2C), and a heavy-duty armored jacketed cable variant (AC935-3C).
