The AC102 Series is CTC’s best-selling, general-purpose industrial accelerometer, designed to deliver exceptional reliability for routine condition monitoring programs. Featuring a standard 100 mV/g sensitivity and a robust plus/minus 80 g dynamic range, it offers a wide frequency response ideal for identifying early-stage rolling element bearing faults, imbalance, and misalignment on pumps, motors, and fans. The internal PZT ceramic sensing element uses a shear-mode structure housed inside a hermetically welded 316L stainless steel casing, rendering it fully immune to heavy mechanical shock and fluid ingress.
Engineered for versatility, the AC102 is available with a standard top-exit 2-pin MIL-C-5015 connector (AC102-1A) or as a permanently installed sensor featuring various rugged integral cabling options, such as submersible molded polyurethane (AC102-2C) or protective stainless steel armor (AC102-3C). These integral cable variations carry an IP68 environmental rating, allowing them to remain fully operational when submerged in liquids down to 60 meters.
