The AC915 Series industrial IEPE accelerometer is designed to provide high-precision vibration data while operating safely inside volatile industrial environments. Featuring a standard 100 mV/g sensitivity and a 80 g dynamic peak range, this sensor effectively tracks mechanical and high-frequency fault codes, making it an excellent choice for tracking rolling element bearings, pumps, and gearboxes. Its internal PZT ceramic shear-mode sensing structure is protected by a hermetically welded 316L stainless steel housing to ensure long-term durability against fluid ingress and harsh ambient conditions.
To satisfy strict intrinsic safety requirements, the sensor must be paired with an approved intrinsic safety barrier—such as the IS111-1B—and approved CTC cabling. The AC915 series is available in multiple exit configurations to accommodate specific installation footprints: the AC915-1A features a top-exit 2-pin MIL connector, the AC915-2C utilizes a molded polyurethane integral cable, and the AC915-3C comes equipped with heavy-duty armor jacketed cabling.
