It is specifically called a Safety Coupler because of its integrated trigger release system. In traditional couplers, high back-pressure can cause the connector to “stick” to the nipple, forcing the user to yank it off, which often leads to broken grease nipples or sudden hand injuries. With the Safety G-Coupler, you simply press the thumb lever to instantly equalize the internal pressure and safely disconnect. This mechanism protects the equipment from damage and ensures the operator’s hands remain safe from slips and sudden movements.
Once locked onto the nipple with its four-hardened-jaw mechanism, it remains airtight and leak-free up to 10,000 PSI (690 Bar).
