PCH 1270
PCH 1270 and 1272 Compact Vibration Guards: Simple SIL 2 Machine Protection with One 4-20 mA output.
The PCH 1270 and PCH 1272 vibration transmitters with internal vibration sensors are ideal as part of the protection safety chain for dangerous machinery when high accuracy and fast response times are important.
The PCH 1270 and 1272 Compact Vibration Guards compare the actual vibration levels to the internal thresholds 10 times per second, making it suitable for early warning or even for emergency shutdown of your machinery.
Standard ISO 10816-3/20816-3 (2/10-1000 Hz) or customized filter ranges can be delivered.
PCH 1270 and 1272 comply with Functional Safety (EN13849), PL-d (SIL 2).
Each calibrated Vibration Guard delivered by PCH Engineering comes with a test certificate.
You can adjust the measuring range, vibration alarm levels, delay and hang times using switches on the monitor.

The PCH Vibration Guard consists of a vibration sensor as well as circuitry for conditioning, alarms and output, all embedded in a stainless steel housing.
The current vibration level is continuously compared with the two alarm limits. If the alarm limits are exceeded, the two alarm relays A1/D1 will be triggered and inform the user, either via a connected rotor light, a beeper, controller or by directly shutting down the machine.
Both Alert (A1) and Danger (D1) have built-in delay times, which prevent false alarms due to momentary transients.
All monitors have built-in latch functions, ensuring the alarm relay stays triggered until it has been reset manually or remotely despite the vibration level decreasing.
A 4-20 mA signal is provided, which always expresses the vibration level. The 4-20 mA output can also be used to verify the alarm limits of the PCH Vibration Guard.
